I think RFK Jr. advocates herd immunity over vaccines. Now, I think I remember that there are people who are immune to HIV because a required gene has been mutated by bubonic plague preventing the virus from infection. So, our market for new vaccines may be largely lost, making pharmaceutical companies much less likely to invest. But, China is rising, and China is embracing science, not pseudoscience, and they have four times the US population. India is also rising, with four times our population.
Can companies like Moderna pitch their vaccines to China, even offer joint R&D ventures as an incentive? Of course, this means China gets healthier, while we get sicker; China also gets cleaner, more productive, and more technologically advanced with alternative energy, but perhaps this would wake enough people up in time, to oppose our historic authoritarian anti-reason Republican Party.
