These are multi-national companies - they should move abroad, to Ireland maybe or elsewhere in Europe, or to Canada. Is it a matter of facilities or personnel? I'm sure the government of their new host country would be glad to help.

How many times have I seen someone insist, "The MAGA war on science is actually just because they want to enrich private companies; they believe in science themselves but want to deny it to anyone who isn't well-off," or, alternatively, "You scientists can just go work for the private sector."
Both are absolutely wrong. They want science obliterated. In all sectors. They prove it with every science-related action they take. But people keep believing the other, because that's how it was 20 years ago (I'll admit, in the past, it WAS about enriching private companies), or because that's what they want to believe, rather than facing the horrible reality. Couldn't Moderna take its data to the European Medicines Agency for approval in the EU? That is a large market and could support export to the U.S. Approval in Canada would allow people from the U.S. to access the Moderna vaccine there. Maybe groups like the Northeast Public Health Consortium could adopt it for use in their member states, based on Canadian or EU approval and the recommendation of relevant U.S. medical societies.

She said that as the USA was driving people away and not using the power of Education, her state had several US scientists coming to do research in Heidelberg, and while it was bad for the US, it was good for Europe. Europe and other countries are poised to absorb as many US scientists as they can. I know of two scientists who are looking for and probably already have offers from countries in Asia to work. One in China, one in Japan. That is because they are going where the research dollars are.

If you watched Kennedy in the recent Congressional hearings, was clear that he came in unprepared and that he is both ridiculously biased for no reason other than maintaining his initial resistance to vaccines and that he is profoundly unfit for his leadership for the health department, but ignorant wrt science and intellectually challenged. The impact of his debunking of the effectiveness of vaccines is already manifested in return of childhood diseases previously almost wiped out.
