I wonder if he will be stuck haunting the new ballroom - or Mar-a-Lago?

“I want to try and get to heaven, if possible. I’m hearing I’m not doing well,” he mused.

Self-reflection from Trump? Or possibly truth from people near him? Wow!

I have never experienced either in the first or even the third person such a sickening disgusting discussion of why we have any moral compass and what it means that the so called leader relies on this to assuage any guilt. The sons bs is even lower and even more blasphemous than the father. This article ought to be reprinted as a pamphlet and passed out at Sunday services.

Do any of the Trumps routinely attend church or religious services?

I mean what I said. We need to have a more powerful quick response team. What if the original article with commentary got produced as a pamphlet’

And distributed to various churches . Consult with a good Christian minister who could get the pamphlet moving in white bChristian nationalist circles.

As an atheist onlooker, I would venture to say that Trump has done more damage to Christianity in America than anyone in my lifetime. Sad in many ways but fascinating to watch and read all the commentary from Christian writers, podcasters, pundits, pollsters etc..

That about sums up Trump and his worshippers.

Donald Trump makes me wish I weren't an atheist just so I could pray he never gets to heaven.

I think I can understand why Trump is thinking about Heaven, since nothing in this world ever pleases him. Think about it: has he ever once spoken of having had a great day, or how much he enjoyed time spent with friends and family, or the personal satisfaction of useful work done really well? The only activities that ever seem to make him happy are taking revenge on people he considers his enemies, and hitting people who can't hit back.

We also have no idea about the actual state of his health, since his doctors' reports contain more fantasy than Isaac Asimov or J. M. Barrie could ever have conceived. And as much as I despise the man, I must admit to feeling a certain pity for someone who is arguably the most powerful person on the planet, but who still feels compelled to lie about his height and weight and to post AI-generated images of himself with a physique that would make a Greek god weep with envy.

No wonder he's speculating on the afterlife, since this life has proven such a disappointment. So where is he headed to? I hate to tell you this, Donald, but Hell is a very real place--and you should know, since you're already in it.

The Nation Geographic Genomic Project proved we humans are all emminated from the central plains of Africa (the website was cleansed of this conclusion). If there’s a creator who made us in his own image, Trump will be facing someone who looks like the 400000 people our country starved to death when USAID was cut. Good luck with that, Mr. President.

So an atheist, in Trumps view, would have no reason to follow rules? What a fool!

I’m more of a deist. I think our purpose is to help our fellow creations. It’s why charity work is fulfilling. I’m not perfect, but I have no fear of accounting for my time on the planet.

Why haven't any interviewers asked the obvious follow-on question. "Who are you hearing from that you are not doing well?" Seems like that would quickly resolve a lot of obvious questions about his moral, mental, and physical health.

It is hard to imagine Trump getting anywhere near the Pearly Gates! He knows that too. A sane person might think…”I’m 79. In lousy health. In a stressful job. Maybe I should reorientate what is left of my pathetic life, and try to be a better person. Might actually up my chances of soon spending eternity in the nice place”! Trump on the other hand has chosen to kneel before his spiritual master, Vladimir Putin, AKA Beelzebub.

I find the comment “I hear I’m not doing well” very interesting. If it’s a comment from his doctors about his physical condition (which I think is likely since I doubt he’d be influenced by negative spiritual assessments from anyone) his narcissism would cause him to think about potential post death survival. At that point, his knowledge of all the cheating, bullying, sexual abuse, etc., that he committed would loom larger and larger. Even Norman Vincent Peale (whose sermons he heard at Marble Collegiate Church) couldn’t totally ignore the Bible’s condemnation of behavior Trump regularly engaged in.

But I am not sure he considers them sins. In his mind, he doesn’t make mistakes and can do no wrong. Let’s face it, he has never really faced any consequences.

True. But lurking in the back of just about every narcissist’s mind is also a case of imposter syndrome.
