Trump's 2019 racist tweet telling Reps. Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, Tlaib, and Presley, all women of color, to go back to where they came from--with insults about "who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world,"--and, of course, three were actually born in the US in NY (Ocasio-Cortez), Mich (Tlaib), and Ohio (Presley). Although, ironically, maybe he is now correct for those three as he is personally turning the U.S. into "a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept...."

Trump is on the record saying that only he and his "top advisor" have access to his social media account. It seems like it's widely believed that Dan Scavino is that top advisor, but I bet Stephen Miller is in the running, too. Many of Trump's long word posts contain too many big words, appropriate sentence structure and punctuation, and too few random capitalizations. Stephen Miller is probably writing those.

Also, regarding the "Indian hate", it's kind of amazing that that MAGA belief never blows back on Vance's wife. Kind of like Caitlyn Jenner is accepted by Trump and MAGA everywhere she goes, and probably can use whatever bathroom she wants. Others of Indian descent and transgenders don't have the same rights.

MILLER was the STAFFER.Prove me wrong.

Trump never apologizes or admits making a mistake. If you saw that Truth Social bleat and recognized it as racist, mission accomplished (I also draws people in to catch the election fraud spiel). It doesn’t even need to stay up, it’s been publicized all over the place. Amazed that Tim Scott actually admitted recognizing it for what it was.

Isn't it sad to consider that instead of reaching to fill out this list, there were almost certainly plenty of examples that were left off the list?

Finally someone asking Tim Scott what was the next most racist comments coming from the Trump/Vance admin.

Here’s at least one theory for the over the top racism of Trump—DJT has never gotten over his father’s defeat in the civil rights case on housing discrimination that the government brought against the Trump organization in the 1970’s. This is a guy who never loses and technically he didn’t lose the case—the org just paid an out of court settlement. To a guy like Trump settling is the same as losing. Kind of sad if you think about it.

Firing people of color from the military, verbally abusing black female reporters, going after Lisa Cook, Fani Willis, and Tish James, and -- assuming moments from the campaign count -- saying out loud that Haitians eat pets, and telling black women journalists that Kamala Harris "just became black" would be #s 11, 12, 13, and 14, I assume.

And he always said black so derisively about Harris--Bah-lllllack.

One could say there is a difference between racist like acts vs racism...but at some point when the incidence of racist acts reaches a certain point, the bridge to racism has been crossed....if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck..well then...you know the rest.

Great summary of JUST the last 12 months.

How many people can proudly say they have their own racist wiki page...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racial_views_of_Donald_Trump

This list is an excellent reminder of how low and vile a human being Trump is.

But every bit as low and vile is his target audience for blatant racism: Trump voters and his social media influencers.

He would not be doing this, over and over ad nauseum, if it wasn’t selling. And boy does it sell. It’s of course symbiotic. He feeds his voter/media beast the reddest of red meat, and it grows even hungrier. We will see worse than this vile Obamas meme. I’m not sure what it will be. But it’s all been escalating, and he’s only a year and change in. And of course even Tim Scott will STILL support Trump. Today’s Republican politicians are spineless castrati, all the way down.

The top ten debate on Trump's 2.0 most racist moments reminds me of the perennial debates we older folks have about the top ten albums of all time; so many worthy candidates, so few spots: Are two Beatles albums deserving? Does Beyonce make it? Can a prog candidate like Pink Floyd make it? How about Elvis? Songs in the Key of Life has must belong right? But unlike great classic pop music, may Trump soon be in the dustbin of history and may we never have to have this worthy and urgent debate about Trump's toxic racism in the future. But now it is as important as ever because to Sarah Longwell's recent point, while a segment of GOP are clearly racist, some are not and they need to be reminded at what point is the racism by Trump and his admin too much for them that support is untenable? May this fine top ten list be shared widely with the MAGA we know. And many Trump and non-Trump independents need to feel fed up about it. Next top 10 list: The Most Cringe Incredulous Deflections of Trump's Racism by GOP Leaders. Get busy Joseph!

Trump's entire focus on DEI, firing non-partisan top military staff based on race and gender, firing the head Archivist at US National Archives bec she was black, forcing universities and private companies to pay out $millions and change their mission statements and hiring practices to exclude non-whites.

The problem is that Trump the greatest traitor of all time and his posse think that this country can be run like a business. Though some business principles may apply, a govt should be neutral and not give airtime to hatred among the fringe groups —left or right, but the traitor doesn’t know how to successfully run a business or a country. He is corrupt, egotistical, classless and cruel. Unfortunately I expect to see more racism from him before his infamous reign of terror is over.

Agreed with Tim Scott’s ranking of WH racist moments, but what I find amazing is that the ape moment that is being condemned even by some Republicans, is tacked on to the.for Trump heart of the video: a buffet of conspiracy tales about how the 2020 election was stolen.

Someone should ask Ms. Levitt why Trump persists in posting fantasies about his election loss that have no basis in fact?

Has that schtick become just elevator music?

You left out the racist, white supremacist posts from government accounts- “which way, Greenland Man” and “we will get our homeland back” type junk. All meshed in with Bible verses - disgusting.

I would note that Trumps weaselly 'a staffer did it' excuse is especially lame here. If a staffer did this, fire them and let us see photos of he/she being marched out of the White House. Another example of the failure of the 'nothing is really my fault'/you can't PROVE it defense' that has been so often used and is always so phony sounding.
