To really gin things up, what I would like to see happen is Desantis ordering a raid on Mara Lago to search for illegal immigrants working on the property. Then I'll get some popcorn
He is too lazy to mount any sort of 3rd party attempt at election.. He may encourage them not to vote for the elitist Republicans but not only being lazy, it would take tons of money.
The man certainly isn't industrious, but on the other hand, he has energy for rallies. And an independent run would be rallies for months. It would also be a narrative of how great and special he is.
