I only have one thing to say and that is that DONALD TRUMP AND ELON MUSK ARE PURE EVIL !!!!!!! I would love to see them both arrested for treason and sent to El Salvador.
It would be nice to go back to the mid 1800s when the Felon-in-Chief's grandfather (?), a draft dodger from the Bavarian authorities in Rhineland-Palatinate (I doubt he offered Bone Spurs as a reason for it), came to the US. I would love to know what paperwork he had to justify his being in, or staying in, this country.
I am among your "most people" group, but that does not mean his effect on the government and our daily lives would be better for us; I think worse because he can actually think about the effect of what he is doing, and how to make it more permanent than just doing it.
Why are state attorneys general and local district attorneys not going after federal agents who are breaking state laws in their immigrant sweeps and arrests? It seems like a no brainer to me. If the agents are arrested for breaking state laws Bondi and Trump cannot interfere in the cases. A few well publicized arrests and arraignments would put the fear of god into some of the federal agents who are out of control.
Maybe that is something Newsom could do rather than call this "problem" a "diversion". He just diverted himself from my considering him for any further political position, and I am a California voter.
I would be cautious about a 'Blue wave' in the midterms which will occur after the Republicrats 'fix the problems' with vote counting - Republicrat sweep, anyone?
I'm extremely heartened by Van Hollen's actions. Too many Democrats see this as a time to fundraise and fight other Dems for position. Show us action, and then we'll tell you who we're excited to support.
