Trump thinks like a child. I don't understand how so many people on the right could not see it. The US is in deep do-do.

It's not over yet but if Britain's *Telegraph* is right, Trump is offering Russia what was in the plan from Russia, or thereabouts - Crimea and the territory otherwise occupied. The way Trump behaves, er, "negotiates", keeps anyone outside the room guessing and from the off it's been totally unclear what Trump's end has been. Nonetheless, the suspicion has been that Trump is perfectly OK with Russia taking Ukraine holus, and the "peace" plan Russia put forward has that in view. This would be not only a terrible thing for Ukraine, but also for the rest of Europe. It won't make "peace" but embolden Russia. Ugh.

Witkoff gets money from Russia and Trump gets money and girls from Russia. The analysis is very easy. Both are willing to sell out the US for money, or what we used to call traitors.

The resemblance between Trump and Butter, the turkey he pardoned in 2019, is striking.

There is nothing to celebrate Gaza. It had been flattened. Nothing left. Total surrender. The pretentious clown show continues. Nothing accomplished. Nothing to do.

We know that Witkoff and Jarad Kurshner’s main desire is for a highly profitable real estate deal with Russia. Trump is motivated by acquiring more wealth for himself and his family plus getting kudos for ending a war even if the peace is short. Our Foreign Policy is messily entangled with making money for the few.

It's all so obvious, but there are still people claiming that Trump is selflessly leading a great patriotic mission to save America from the scourge of leftism.

Both Parties have communication machines but there is no contest that the Rep Right Wing media is louder, stronger, bigger and more effective in its hateful propaganda than the left. The Dems message of inclusion becomes targeted groups by the far Right for political effect. The Democrats did go too far by insisting all Americans should use specific words, phrases and pronouns. By focusing communication on reviling specific groups, their media made all Dems seem Far Left.

No media machine or pseudo-sophisticated think tank could ever persuade me that Turmp is not what my own eyes and ears tell me. One result of Trumpism is that I became far more skeptical of anything said by anyone who keeps putting a gloss on a psychopath and claiming that he really loves America with exceptional devotion.

The thing that strikes me about the leaked "perfect phonecalls" is that they kinda had to have come from US surveillance of Ushakov's electronic communications. It's not surprising that we'd be bugging the phone of a Russian operative. It's a bit jaw dropping that someone in US intelligence is possibly leaking the intel to prevent a Trump stooge from kneecapping our Ukrainian allies.

Tillerson and other smart people close to him thought Trump was a "fucking moron." I never believed he was quite that stupid, but now I'm starting to think, yeah, he just might be that stupid. The spectacle of his turkey pardon was something to behold.
