Adrian - Hello from occupied MN. Thanks for coming to see the atrocities. Ortiz is amazing. There are so many here who have stepped up. We ARE MN Nice - but do NOT mess with our neighbors. I was at a community meeting last night that was overflowing. We were told 🧊has complained that their jobs are harder here than they have been anywhere else. We all cheered. Please keep the good work and keep spreading the truth.

Amazing. Now that ICE is here in Portland, Maine, it's helpful to read about networks that are working in Minneapolis. At present they're targeting our Somali neighbors. Clearly their presence is due to Maine being a blue state.

MN, and Take Action Minnesota, offering legal aid, rapid response, community organizing, and direct support; also consider ISAIAH for interfaith efforts or specific needs like food/goods via groups like Ayada Leads, CEAP, or community-led drives. •
Our fellow citizens are on the front lines leading the opposition to this horrible administration. Our elected leaders in Washington should take some lessons. Thank you so much for this on the scene reporting.It is heartbreaking to read about. I made a small donation and I hope it prevents someone from getting gas themselves . You are truly heroes. So brave. You have moved me to tears and feel so awful our/your government is putting you through this.

In the meantime, "stay woke on these streets." Now people might understand why some of us wanted the original meaning of that phrase to remain intact. Peace be with you.

I live in Omaha, NE. Our situation is nothing like MN. yet because we are a red state. However Omaha is a blue dot city. ICE is in our city in the area where many Latino neighbors live. There are groups that are forming a warning system.
The person who was afraid to go to the gas station was exactly right. I was reading this on a Metro bus and passed a gas station on Hennepin where ICE was doing some kind of action. There were dozens of people there filming, shouting and whistling. I don't know what happened. And TNR has a story online about the exact same thing a few days ago, just a few blocks over.
This whole story just shows that often Americans by choice are far better people than Americans by birth. They truly understand and appreciate the importance of our Constitution and the rule of law (when those laws are just).

And now a federal appeals court has said ice can do what ever they want to protestors.
I looked up the composition of that court. 10 R-appointed judges. One by Obama. Dems should never approve another republican nominee.
