I'm not a lawyer, but aren't there adverse, unpleasant legal consequences calling on others to do anything which would lead to those others being arrested? Is the 'lesson' Lake seems to have learned from Trump that getting others to break the law for one is just peachy?
1) No amount of filters can hide Kari Lake's crazy.
2) I notice none of the R's who say it's crazy that she lost to Hobbs, who "ran the election" said the same thing about Stacey Abrams losing to Secretary of State Brian Kemp in Georgia.
3) I sometimes miss Arizona, where I grew up, but the current level of crazy there makes it a lot easier to be elsewhere.
4) The My Pillow Guy as head of the RNC? Bring it, baby. I'll get the popcorn!
When Jonathan Karl recently asked Paul Ryan about the threat of Trump filing for an independent candidacy, Ryan replied, “then he gives the left the country. And I think he would not want to be blamed for doing that.”
Having worked many elections, I can attest that polling places always has workers of both parties. Any time a voter needs assistance or has a question, 2 people, one from each party, responds. Before the election starts every poll worker takes an oath. If these people are so worried, why don't they apply to be a poll worker on election day.
The only winner of a possible Nikki Haley run is her paid political consultant. That will be good for about 3 months since she will win 1% of the GOP caucus/primary. I doubt she ever makes it to the SC primary but it will be utterly humiliating when she gets 0-1% of the vote in her home state.
Sane people everyone must drive home that people like Crazy Kari are just sore losers who yell fraud every time they lose. Voters have shown they are getting sick of the crazy. Take to social media and call them what they are - SORE LOSERS.
Just in - The Cochise Co loonies finally certified. I guess a judge ordering them to act like adults worked. Of course, the queen of loons (apologies to the birds) is still fighting.
If "You really should take time to read A.B. Stoddard", why doesn't your Bulwark+ homepage make it easier to find. IT ISN'T THERE! Yes, I found the link up top of this article, but I'd made a note to read it later and when I couldn't find it, I had to go searching through the articles I had read before I did. Note that in the "New" section towards the bottom left, the newest article is a Charlie Sykes article from 24 hours ago. Stoddard's is less than nine hours from it's initial posting as I write this. What does "New" mean to your web page designers?
But what is there is the supposed list of Most Popular, which includes an article from as recently as March 30th (everything else is older), a mere 9 months ago but considering some of the articles are from 2020, and so not even in this decade, makes it practically current. What an absolute waste of valuable top page real estate.
I think you are correct, Charlie, in wondering how many suburban voters are going to look at what is happening in Arizona and think they want to be part of that group.
I think the GOP has an even bigger problem with young people just tuning into politics. Imagine coming of age to vote, and taking a look at the choices. One side may or may not be aligned with all of your policy preferences, but it is functional and basically representative of the country. It thinks the school shootings that you grew up practicing hiding from are bad and should be stopped. It takes climate change, which is YOUR future, seriously. It basically has your back, whoever you are, and that of your gay and black and immigrant and Jewish and Muslim friends.
On the other side, you can join a party where the prominent people of your generation are Charlie Kirk, Milo Y., and Nick Fuentes, and where the adults pose with guns around the family Christmas tree, mostly refuse to vote to protect gay marriages. They want to eliminate abortion, even if that's a death sentence for the woman, and may be on the way to criminalizing contraception. You look for other adults, and you see revolting self-righteous hypocrites like Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz and Ron DeSantis, who revel in cruelty. Young people see right through phonies like them.
I just think the GOP has made itself toxic to the vast majority of young people. Sure, there are the Groypers and kids raised in isolated "Christian" communities, who ironically are taught to hate all those "others," and there's some percentage susceptible to on-line radicalization, but I just think that one of the prices the Republicans have paid for their amoral cowardice over the past six years, is going to be a generation that rejects them in great numbers.

Oh, but I want Trump to run... Into the sea!

Trump lost again. I wonder if he's tired of all the "winning" yet. Make that whining yet.
Great reading on the website today from Amanda Carpenter and AB Stoddard. Fantastic art on the latter, as well. Great job.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Paul Ryan is hilarious.
Good guess

What's really insane is when they refuse to certify in areas they WON!
These are real loonies. Just listen to a few of the "citizens" at the Maricopa County hearing.

'You smug, smug people!' he said
'Oh dear,' I said, 'Someone needs the nurse. Let's just have a little rest, shall we?'
'Hey, Jimmy? Cut up a 1/4 gummie for Nana and tell her it's her 'medicine', ok?'
