As if Spider’s calling everyone “bruh” in TWoW wasn’t annoying enough, now he is begging to pee? Santa is leaving tickets in our stockings, so we are going anyway, but starting to think my time would be better spent wrapping up Stranger Things, which at least introduces plenty of new stuff each season to keep us interested. Thanks for the review as always Sonny!
I'm seeing it in about a week, mainly because a friend wants to see it for his birthday and I just want to close out the trilogy. The length of this movie concerns me because, at nearly 70 yoa, my bladder has evolved to its own life form and 3.5 hours makes me wonder if a birthday wish is, in the end, worth it...
I've always thought what Cameron really ought to do is a Pandoran nature documentary, narrated by Sir David Attenborough. I'd certainly pay to see THAT on an IMAX screen!
It is wild how much money this franchise prints while having like zero cultural penetration. No one I ever know says a word about it, there are no real tie-ins with anything else, there are no video games, etc. It's somehow massive yet invisible, unlike Star Wars and Marvel that at their peak moments have been everywhere. People remember characters from those movies, but does anyone out there casually remember a single name from Avatar movies other than maybe Jake?
I'm recalling the turn of phrase that was the kiss of death at student film screenings.
"It looked fantastic."
I'll say this: It does look fantastic!

make sure to get an aisle seat
Oh, no. Oh, no, no. You thought this was a trilogy? There are still two more coming!
By then, I'll need my own ambulance staff with mops...
We saw the trailer and our first thought was “all the money and technology in the world and all they can think to do is war.” Won’t be seeing it.

Or the late Steve Irwin...
[Australian accent] And here we see the tulkun in its NATURAL HABITAT!
Interestingly, this is kinda what the ride at Disney World is.

There is a video game. It's not half bad.
