It was a competitive race (which I lost) and I tell you it was an extremely exhaustive appearance. I remember driving downtown for some event and then afterward sitting down trying to figure out where my car was. I was so tired I couldn't remember where I parked. It's got to be extremely exhausting being President and running for re-election.

This is another reason why incumbent Presidents should not be allowed to run for re-election. They might need to sit out for awhile to recharge.
