Nothing like a sequel that ignores internal logic. But with the horror show that is reality full of bad actors (especially the Grabber-in-chief occupying the White House) ignoring the internal logic of liberal democracy, maybe this is art imitating life? Think I’m gonna skip Black Phone 2 and watch something else that will truly Grab my attention.
Honestly, the original 'Black Phone' was pretty short on internal logic too, as well as the external, thematic kind.
I wonder what the timeline was for Hawke to shoot this while also shooting The Lowdown for FX (which I have to recommend highly)
Yeah I assume he basically squeezed this in between all the other stuff he’s doing.

Sure, but did the movie grab you?
