I canтАЩt help but see a similarity to Germany in the 1930s. Not literally, but by driving out Jewish physicists like Hans Bethe, Otto Frisch, John von Neumann, etc., the Germans doomed their own later nuclear program. Perhaps we will be left behind too, by driving away scientists who will develop the next revolutionary technology. Ughhh!
