Most of my former tech co-workers who’ve since unfriended or blocked me over political discussions over social media have been of this sort. Social media itself is frankly a radicalizing thing in general, it’s way too easy to consolidate into a bubble that only sees what it wants to see, and the algorithms are happy to oblige for ad clicks.
