In their DEI-influenced wisdom, the majority-minority state board of education in my overwhelmingly white state of Oregon suspended the requirement that a student pass certain proficiency tests in order to graduate from high school. The reason? Why, because proficiency testing "harms" black students. The result is that black grads' proficiency will be in doubt for lack of proof.
