It’s not just Dems. Suddenly America discovers that being ultra rich does not translate into business acumen. Both Musk and Trump were born rich and have proven unsuccessful businessmen. Tesla is tanking, Twitter a failure, SpaceX watched two spaceships explode in as many months.

Yeah it’s ridiculous how he talks shit about NASA as if NASA has the luxury of blowing up rocket after rocket when they screw up. They basically get one shot to make it work. They aren’t good businessman. They just have girth when it comes to resources.
You don’t make the pitch like the pillow guy, you got to hug that bottle like a sewer clown who is about to do down with delirium tremors then close the sale. You will never sleep so well while smashed on trampo vodka.
And people, stop buying his fire ball cars, I don’t give a shit if it’s on batteries buy a different one not known to burn passengers alive, boycott it’s important, he must be shunned leave no question about it!
Exactly right, it’s not just Dems—and lines like “a MAGA diehard and bête noire of liberals” are the both-sides, horse race style of reporting that helped get us here.
As a recovering progressive, I joined the Bulwark precisely because it is a platform that strives for objectivity. And we are objectively past the point where framing reactions to Musk as “Dems vs. Republicans” is accurate or helpful. The point is that *rational, empathetic citizens* are experiencing strong negative reactions to this unelected “official” running a chainsaw through the institutions that make America a society, not just a marketplace. And it this group of citizens—which most definitely comprises liberals and conservatives—that will have to save this country. This isn’t about political parties anymore. We can get back to bickering about policy differences once the forces of rationality and empathy win our country back from what can only be objectively described as the forces of evil.
Very true. Unfortunately the byproduct of being divided into divisive camps is that we - and most especially Trump, Musk, and the Billionaires (wrong name for a punk band) - is that they don’t care about Americans … only salving their fragile egos.

Girth also when they sit down on their “enemies” … and taunt.
Don't forget the six bankruptcies the Felon-in-Chief accumulated on his way to being a smart businessman --- NOT.
One Trump Vodka martini coming up!

American taxpayers have been foundational to Musk’s wealth and success through billions of dollars of government contracts and assistance.
I’ll say it again: he’s a welfare queen.
His companies would not be what they are today without the American People’s money and hardwork: we’ve built Tesla, SpaceX/Starlink, etc.
Trump, too. Looks averted from the grift, graft and looting.
