I think what this administration understands is that most people are inattentive and clueless. Some base diehards might cheer the sheer immoral monstrosity of this regime and its enforcers, but most Americans live in blissful ignorance. When we've lost everything this country was noted for, they might notice a change, but too late.
US law does not look kindly on contracts with underage children - for many good reasons - the potential for coercion by unscrupulous adults key among them.
Why are we surprised that someone who confessed to sexualizing children (and please do not tell me they were 'teenagers' not six year olds), someone who palled around with Jeffrey Epstein, would not want trafficked children gone from government custody as quickly and quietly as possible. Thanks to all for making so much NOISE and putting a bright spotlight on all these "Freaky" goings on.
Oh, for goodness sakes! Do you really think that President Trump, Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary Kristi Noem, and Attorney General Pam Bondi would stoop so low to harm children?
We just need to keep documenting these egregious plans and publishing headlines that let everyone, including and especially those who thought DJT would be a reasonable president, know what he and his sycophants are actually doing. And he wanted the Nobel Peace Prize. What an absurd delusion!

I have a friend who is an immigration attorney representing unauthorized minors in the US and what these attorneys are going through to protect their clients is insanity. They are working day and night to hold this administration accountable and there aren’t enough of them to represent all of the minors who need legal representation!

Please come back to Chicago and report on the inhumane treatment of immigrants here. People are scared to leave their homes even for medical treatment or to go to the grocery store. One of my favorite restaurants closed early last night because their employees are scared to leave where they live and go to work. And they are citizens!!
Chicagoans are really suffering under this authoritarian administration. I almost can’t believe this is happening in 2025 in the U.S. I’m going through the 5 stages of grief. I’m firmly in denial and my husband is angry. No one deserves to be treated the way this administration is treating people. Full stop.
It looks as though Gov. Pritzker is standing strong and pushing back. We’re planning to visit family at Christmas in Chicago. Hope both ice and the Texas guard has been pushed out by then.
This is so absolutely disgusting. This country is morally fucking broken and has become an inhumane wasteland. There is no competing views in this county anymore unless you think one side is abiding by at least some sense of normalcy, basic morality, and following basic laws versus compete inhumane lawlessness.
The paper trail is important for future accountability. In the next administration all ICE agents, and those who gave them orders should be housed at Guantanamo Bay while their trials and potential executions are held. There is no rehabilitation possible for these terrorists.
The Biden admin tabled a bipartisan solution to immigration and border issues. Trump killed it to boost his chance for re-election. So the Republicans in Congress were lackeys back then.
Trump loves giving Miller free reign so the ultimate blame, when it comes, will fall on Miller. They both should be charged for domestic terrorism. And it is not just children being abused. I fear for all women and girls in those ICE "detention centers". Who is overseeing their safety from the fat fux in face gaiters? How will MAGA react to terminating rape pregnancies caused by ICE agents?
Well Steve, either the midterms are held free, fair, and verified accurately counted, or I think the domestic peace will be shattered.
If I were a Republican, especially in Congress, I would be up for any way to dethrone Trump/Vance/Johnson, allowing the GOP some time to reinvent themselves, show "shock" and remorse, and find a new presidential candidate before a) the midterms or b) 2028. If they don't they really do stand to lose every danged seat they hold.
I fear there will be interference (soldiers and ICE detaining and questioning blue state voters and SCOTUS will let it pass , or even (6 of9 ) participate . I hope to God genie is still very healthy in 2026/2027 because only Bernie and AOC have shown leadership , courage and willingness to put it out there . Wee will need a leader or I honestly fear civil unrest . T**p has NO idea what civil unrest is -- or maybe he does since he is amassing the ICE army to beat and shoot us all into submission if we protest .

Trump and cabal are betting that the American public are too spoiled and comfortable to push back, thinking it will never be them.
