We all feel this! Thank you for sharing this! Some people feel they are alone and glimpses of other people that feel the same are empowering. I have said before that the people must fight this cruel chaos with measured meaningful mayhem. The World is largely on our side. Each person in the US that is fed up with the unconstitutional, illegal, over reaching terrorism of this administration must decide for themselves how they can help. Write letters, make calls, connect with groups protesting by marching, support townhalls, support candidates who want to do the most good for the most people, join national days of protest, support boycotts and strikes if possible. As Anne Frank believed, so do I and with far more evidence than she had: There is still good in people. We must actively be that good. We must be strong, yet as peaceful as possible. Call upon the elected officials and the judiciary at the local, state and federal levels. Ask for positive action and responses, offer solutions, even untested ones- don't simply whine and complain. Watch effective leaders, at every level and get in on what they are doing. Most importantly, we need partners in positive change and circles of support. We are not alone, and we are armed with rightous anger. The only wrong move is to make no move. Momentum, Inertia and persistence will help us get in motion and stay in motion. And as we move forward, we have to place some gaurdrails that will keep this nightmare from occurring again. Our Constitution is designed to be adapted. We are getting a good look at what works and what doesn't. Money out of politics! Tighter parameters on executive orders. Clear and concise language. We have this. We are just going up that ridiculous, straight -up first hill on an old wooden roller coaster. Our necks are straining and we hear the click click of the chains as we slowly get to the top. Then the momentum is ours, and minutia of the clicks is wiped away with joy, and movement we have prepared for.

Check out these protest songs.

My daughter’s friend was protesting at either Minneapolis or Portland (I know she’s living in one of those two cities) and had her upper arm broken by an ICE agent by twisting it in back of her while arresting her. This girl and her family are some of the nicest people you would ever meet - the epitome of Minnesota nice - and it’s really shocking that government thugs are doing this to our citizens. Hooray for this guy for speaking out on camera.

Awesome, what a brave man

I applaud you.

Thank you.

Toward the end he said " this is not the same country as when I was born/ grew up"

My dad an immigrant, rfugee from WWII Europe. He didn't have a citizenship from anywhere until mid 40s or even 50+, first came to the USA in his teens.... He has said to me several times " this is not the same country as the one I first saw"

Yeah people need to be out there PEACEFULLY!?! please

Let's follow the example of Dr. MLK,

Peaceful protest.

Chris is speaking for us! it's disappointing that our leaders don't have a fraction of his courage and backbone.

Loved this interview. Since you are interviewing the everyday person witnessing what is happening in Minneapolis, I think it would interesting to hear from the young men who escorted Jake Lang to safety. I am very curious about why they did this.

I want to add this to the conversation. Kristin Kobes DuMez and her colleagues Robert P Jones and Diana Butler Bass interviewed Angela Denker, author, Star-Tribune reporter, and Lutheran pastor on “The Convocation”. It’s as bad or worse than you are hearing and seeing. It’s worth watching.

After x months "sitting in [his] cushy house," Chris Ostroushko sees the action in person and he's lit up. Absolutely beautiful! As long as people like Chris are willing to be a witness for the prosecution, we will have accountability. Bless all of them.

Move over Santa Claus...

You’d best be polite,

And talk real nice,

Or else you just might

Get murdered by ICE.

Bovino is coming to town!

They’re casting a net,

and casting it wide.

You’d better not let

Your kids go outside.

Bovino is comin’ to town!

His boys will smash your windows

And drag you from your car.

He’ll label you a terrorist,

No matter who you are.

He carries a list

You’re probably on.

The President’s pissed

And wants you all gone.

Bovino is comin’ to town!

It’s all for Trump’s sake

They’ve come into town,

With orders to take

Minneapolis down.

Bovino is comin’ to town!

He’ll seize you when you’re sleeping

Or while you’re wide awake,

And when you show him your passport

He will tell you that it’s a fake.

So don’t get upset.

Just stay in your place.

That way you won’t get

Three rounds in the face.

Bovino is comin’ to town!

He’s coming to town!
