They have certainly disappointed me on occasion, but, they have also made good calls...

I am not a fan of Thomas or Alito, but, for me, it is mostly how unlikeable, uncaring they can be.

So, my point is, until we know what they actually do, it is wasted energy for me to stress about it...I am also hopeful, most legal people I read, even the liberal ones, have something similar about they won't rule that he is immune for this specific case...

And yes, George is definitely an institutionalist...and as such ,I think he wants to improve them, and point out when they are doing it right...

The court is now acting to aid Donald Trump's subversion of democracy. They've effectively and obviously blocked the justice system with delay tactics. They know Trump is bent on abusing the pardon power to escape justice. The majority of the court is on board with it. They are deeply corrupt; their track record on other matters is irrelevant.

BTW, if George's value is to provide diversity of opinion, shouldn't the Bulwark consider getting explainers from Hugh Hewitt and Jonathan Turley? They are top notch legal minds. And think of the diversity upside.
