The beautiful logic of stand-your-ground laws . . . .

If you are a white man, a man’s home is his castle, and you have the right to stand your ground there; your ground is wherever you happen to be; you can therefore transport your ground to find someone black to shoot on the pretext of being a threat to you. If you are a black man, this law does not apply. You are fair game wherever you are.

With the open and “Constitutional carry” laws catching on like wildfire, it’s a wonder there aren’t more of these cases happening, especially with come-on-and-knock-this-chip-my-shoulder attitude spread in gun culture.

Doesn't apply to women either.

And I'm going to guess if the person defending themselves is gay and the victim is straight, it won't apply there either.

It definitely doesn't apply to women- look at all the women serving decades long sentences for killing their domestic abuser before the abuser could kill them.
