We have 3 generations of military in our family, Adult child has confirmed that, despite faults (something no one is without), the military is an organization that promotes people based on competence and merit, not on wealth of the parents or how pretty they smile when on TV. He notes normal instruction on parade decorum was not given to all soldiers in attendance on Sat., as seen in prior parades. Am appalled at proposed cuts in Vet programs and at Vet hospitals. All of you deserve better.
