BLM marches were mostly free of violence. The destruction was initiated by non-BLM instigators.
I cannot assign race to those people.
But I will say, that the instigators committed horrible destructive acts to sully the BLM’s intended cause, which gave them a bad name and a negative reputation. The instigators succeeded in their causal actions, while destroying buildings, businesses, and the livelihood of so very many people.
Also, in addition to those instigators who had specific political-like intentions, there may have been others involved just to do criminal thuggery.
The bottom line... there are terrible actors who are committing horrific acts of crime, bullying, intimidation, etc., some of whom may be mentally ill, or hateful with stone cold hearts, or are prone to criminal behavior. More scary are people who appear to be normal, but have decided to be/become serial professional disrupters of our country for their political purposes. (You know what I mean.)
The marchers I have no issues with. If they went and peacefully assembled to protest a brazen and unjust police killing, that's their right and I'm on their side both in their cause and their right to do so. When I'm saying "rioters" I mean the acts of arson, property damage, and the "shoplifting at Target for justice." Have no sympathy for the latter.
You know most BLM marches were peaceful and that the violence that happened was mostly done by white people, right?

Rioters is often used interchangeably with protesters
Fair enough, happy to clarify.
