I can't wait to hear about the tearful courthouse employees who are so sorry for putting the great man through so much trouble. :)

The cynical comments from the MAGA politicians that know better once again shows a willing disregard for their Oaths to the Constitution. This may seem like a trivial thing for some. However, I’m a retired military veteran. No, I’m not looking for pats on the back or thanks. This is a sincere reflection l. I remember the first time I raised my hand and took the oath of enlistment as a new Army private. I had come from nothing, and at the time, it felt like the proudest day of my life. Little me - taking an oath to defend the Constitution. The oath was a sacred experience for me. I then repeated that oath as my career progressed. I had the privilege of taking the Oath again after graduating from Officer Candidate School and becoming a commissioned officer. Again, I considered it a sacred experience. Perhaps I am naive to think that others would have the same level of commitment and understanding. I simply don’t understand the cynicism and the rewards these people get for flaunting this sacred trust. It’s like the oath has lost its meaning.
