They all have to live with so much DRAMA. High school all over again

Insane does not even begin to cover this.

These guys will be a lot happier when they admit who they really are. It'll be hard for them, to be sure, but they'll be much happier on the other side of it.

These idiots deserve one another. Yarvin's success is a national embarrassment.

Why does Man’s World look like what I’d expect gay porn to look like in the 1940s?

J AZ's avatar

…when men were men?

Donald Koller's avatar

Like the whole design itself doesn’t really seem too “manly”?

Carol Richards's avatar

Egad, Will! This is incredible research you’ve done.

No lack of pathetic characters in these 4th tier trash Trumpian realms.

Is that a comic book? It has the comic book rating seal on it. Something actual comic books don't use anymore, btw.

Sumi Ink 🇨🇦's avatar

Yes that is a Comics Code Authority seal, which went defunct back in 2011. Guessing it was added to the cover just to give it a retro comic book vibe.

Bill - curious about that too. The whole cover looks like something found when cleaning out a deceased, shady uncle’s sock drawer

I can only imagine being in the audience with these repressed clowns when they first saw The Crying Game...

And scrolling through the comments here, it seems like I am not the only one who saw that cover and thought that it looks like something I would have seen in Lamda Rising in Dupont Circle when I lived in DC in the 90s..

I urge them to eat many raw eggs. Raw pork is also a good source of protein!

It's an awful shame that we need to live, raise children, educate them and ourselves, live lives of grace and mercy, and generally try to conduct ourselves with some jot of personal integrity in this nation. If it weren't for all that, this place would be one, uninterrupted fucking riot of hilarity.

"The transgender woman in question, who goes by the name 'Pariah the Doll,' is a fixture of New York’s reactionary Dimes Square scene."

I've heard rumors of this scene over the years. For example –

https://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Society/2024/0624/New-York-conservative-avant-garde-counterculture-religion

– the whole scene sounds like fodder for more of Will's columns.

The model involved said over a year ago that he has returned to a male gender expression, though clearly he still has a slender build and delicate features.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHy4GSqPUis So... are the Man's World readers really just mad at themselves that they couldn't immediately tell they weren't looking at a cis woman?

Their so-called life is based on gratuitous narcissism.

There's no wonder why Mad King Darn'old Drumpf of Dementia-Felonia is the earthly god.

I gotta wonder: how did those readers know it was a trans person?

Jenny Ruth's Just the Business's avatar

“Anti-trans politics”, aka concerns about the rights of women and children, is probably even more “ascendant” on the left. It is totally wrong to frame the rejection of the lie that humans can change sex in left/right terms. More and more people of all political persuasions are realising reality matters and that cross-dressing men should have no place in women-only spaces and sports. This was a key reason why Kamala Harris lost to Trump.

Steve's avatar

Do some additional research; beyond Joan's good suggestion; into Trinidad, Colorado being the sex change capitol of the US from the late 1970s into the early 1990s.

Jenny Ruth's Just the Business's avatar

I do not need any more “education” in the idiotic notion that humans can change sex - we can’t- or that there are more than 2 sexes. There are all of two. This nonsense is so tiresome and fundamentally stupid.

Joan Tindell's avatar

Anyone who claims not to need more education is either deluded or thinks they are god.

Jenny Ruth's Just the Business's avatar

I actually agree with you on that. But there’s a gulf between actual education and researching nonsense. I choose the former and reject going down the genderwoo rabbit hole. You need to realise that reality matters.

Steve's avatar

So you're fearful of what you might learn. The medical field is full of wonders and they aren't necesssarily malformations or failures to form.

Jenny Ruth's Just the Business's avatar

Are you “fearful” about exploring the notion that humans can become fish? I don’t “fear” nonsense, I reject it.

Joan Tindell's avatar

Biological sex is not as binary as you think. Do some research. Here, I'll start you off:

"Recent data indicate that sex is not a simple binary classification based solely on genitalia at birth or reproductive capacity but encompasses various biological characteristics such as chromosomes, hormones, and secondary sexual characteristics. The existence of individuals with differences in sex development (DSD) who do not fit typical male or female categories further demonstrates the complexity of sex."

Jenny Ruth's Just the Business's avatar

You are clearly steeped in genderwoo.

You need to check basic human biology. All of us are always either male or female and we cannot change which we are.

And you need to realise that all differences of sexual development (DSDs) prove is that sometimes nature produces malformations, deformations or failures to form. They do not disprove human biology.

Joan Tindell's avatar

Sorry, no genderwoo here. Just a dive into the scientific literature on "basic human biology." You might try taking the dive yourself. Here's a short fact sheet to get you started exploring some of the many variations of biological sex: https://www.asrm.org/advocacy-and-policy/fact-sheets-and-one-pagers/just-the-facts-biological-sex/
