Something I’ve never seen or read in US media. Virtually every story on inflation over there put it in a global context. The lack of a broader global context for inflation and gas prices in the US feeds the “it’s all Biden’s fault” GOP narrative. Which of course allows the GOP to avoid talking about exactly what they would do to bring down inflation and gas prices.
