I disagree with Carville. One reason the Democratic brand is hurting is because Democrat politicians are not mounting a unified campaign to counter Trump’s destruction of our government.

They should be having daily press conferences in front of governmental agencies with people who have been fired coming from around the country, telling stories of the work they did and how their job loss will affect the public.

Dem politicians should be leading demonstrations and walking out of committee meetings. They should be holding town meetings in Republican districts where Republicans are refusing to meet the public.

In other words, Demicratic leaders should be making a vocal, daily, creative case for what our government does for us, and for democracy. Is this too much to ask????

No, it's not too much to ask. Democrats are very weak. Not a single one of them should be at the speech tonight. His power is his command of attention. You stage a Democrat no-show, the attention is on them. "Democrats didn't show up? Why didn't they show up?"

From the right you get, "What a bunch of disrespectful little whiners."

From the middle/uninformed you get: "That's weird. I wonder why they didn't show up?"

Suddenly the mic is in Democrats' hand.

Another opportunity., squandered.

Here's a hint, Democrats: every time DT is supposed to have a big moment, you win by stealing his attention. Stop being such faggot little pussies and stand up and fight.
