OR maybe, just maybe they could act like human beings!! People who care about people. People who think it is horrific for innocent people to be tortured. How fucking scary would that be to anyone. Also, WHY can't they get him back. If he was illegally taken it seems like it would be easy to get him back. Put him on a plane. All of the innocent people. I don't get why they are not home yet since the judge has already said the Aliens act was not allowed so we need to get them back. If they want to deport them - OK that's not great - but this is not deporting them - this is putting them in a terrorist jail!

Here is a link to the court filing. I'm confused as it rules that while the Defendants (KRISTI NOEM, Secretary of Homeland Security, et al.,) recognize the financial and emotional hardships to Abrego Garcia’s family, the public interest in not returning a member of a violent criminal gang to the United States outweighs those individual interests. They admitted there was an administrative error in deporting Garcia, yet claim he is a member of a violent criminal gang member? https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.11.0.pdf

I would have liked to hear Mr. Egger question Senator Cruz about the allegation that his father was involved in the JFK assassination. Should his father be deported without a chance to prove his innocence? The public needs to see the absurdity of how elected officials respond to legitimate questions.

They keep saying these gangs are raping and killing American women. Why are these specific cases all over the news? Why do we only here the rhetoric?

Vance and Leavitt should hang with Trump and the GOP for violating the constitution, breaking their oath to defend it. They are traitors. Understand, the GOP and their voters are authoritarians and have militarized our police such that they abuse power at will with their full support. They do not respect the law nor have any interest in justice.

The press really needs to prepare for these administration freak shows by keeping to the issue that is what evidence does the administration have that any of those renditioned are proven gang members? And repeat this EVERY time that the stooge makes her vapid statement. EVERY time! Fuck the administration.

This Leavitt person is one of the most craven, immoral, disgusting, harmful people I have ever seen or heard. Just repulsive.

Would like to hear some precision, hear the spokepersons say HOW MANY were killed by immigrants versus HOW MANY were killed by our own.

That's never done, right? The numbers they avoid promoting are too tiny???

We had over 40,000 deaths by guns in 2024 in the US. FORTY-THOUSAND.

If, say half, were suicides, that leaves over TWENTY THOUSAND as homicides, nasty or clean murders.

Putting X immigrant killers in jail leaves 20,000 minus X that these anticrime people never tell us about? No storytelling, not by Leavitt, not by Bondi, not by the nighttime poster?

It's a pattern--T. never stopped to count the money in the till at his casinos, made-up things in his head, so went bankrupt 6 times by the early 90s? Wash, rinse, and repeat, seeing the same now, by his stand-ins?

Due process is a right - not just for U.S. citizens but for human beings (and corporations but that's another issue). We don't know who the gang members really are - due process is for finding that out. They use hyperbole to confuse the issue while chipping away at everyone's rights.

I apologize to anyone who thinks this is too flippant, but Vance, Cruz, Leavitt et. al. reminds me of Otter's defense of the Delta's behavior in "Animal House"
