I just read a report that democratic governors came out with a statement of support for Biden. I guess they want to follow him over the cliff like a bunch of lemmings and drag the rest of us with them. Pretty hypocritical how democratic leaders criticized republican leaders who never stood up to Trump. Here we have a bunch of democratic governors who know Biden can't win but refuse to state that in public. Bunch of cowards that are going to give us Trump again because they are too afraid to stand up to a 81 year old stubborn president who is going to let his pride prevent us from having a candidate that can actually beat Trump. I'm not even sure if I will vote in November, I'm so angry right now.

Those governors marched out like robots and read the script they had been given. Beyond cringey. It was MAGA-esque

*shrug* That isn't the place for governors to voice their concerns to Biden. That would be behind closed doors in their Zoom meeting or in a direct phone call. Several of the likely alternates to Biden come from that group too. They can't go first. Now if no one dared question him at their meeting or expressed their concerns in private. I agree with you.

I still contend that the best way to get Biden to step aside is to simply sit down with him and have him watch the debate. He's too smart/experienced a politician to not see the problem. The question then is will hubris keep him from admitting he's got to step aside.
