Agree completely. But it’s chilling that we needed to even have Judge Luttig put out his tweets. Now imagine if Al Gore had decided that since Florida was so close in 2000 election, he was dividing the electoral votes from that state, thus giving him the majority and declaring himself President. It’s absurd, right? But under the logic of Trump and his sycophants that is acceptable under the Constitution. It’s patently absurd, and the fact that any responsible leader could even consider Trump’s demands acceptable is disqualifying for any office.

What if Ralph Nadar said that he actually pulled out of the race the day before the election and Gore the case that his electoral votes would have gone to him so he took them and won Florida. No one would have agreed to that.
