It's affecting the local level, too. My wife is from Mexico so we know people of all statuses naturally. A couple of my wife's friends work as a photographer and catering, serving the lower end of the market. People are canceling bodas, quinceaneras, Baptism parties and 1st Communion parties. They either want to save money in case something bad happens and/or don't want to draw crowds and attention to themselves. Local music acts/dj's and Mariachis are also similarly affected. It's bad for their businesses and makes life less fun also.

54% of Latino men voted for this. I'm not going to sympathize much unless I see words like "sorry", "regret", and "I was wrong" in these articles.
