What's always amazed me is that Trump was born into wealth, hasn't done a hard day's work in his life, grew up in NYC, hasn't shown the slightest interest in helping people less fortunate than he (and indeed has been sued for fraud and nonpayment of debts by those less fortunate folks), wouldn't be caught dead hobnobbing with those without money, and couldn't find Alabama on a map if you painted it red, and yet his supporters somehow view him as on their side.
