To people who actually care about the poor old battered republic, one of the worst things about Donald's schlong-swinging at just the wrong moment in just the wrong way was that it undid the considerable good will that had, surprisingly, redounded to our credit during the World Cup, including the warm welcome Boston gave the Tartan Army and the immense kindness with which the community of Lawrence, Kansas received the Algerian soccer team that had made their base camp in Lawrence.
Ordinary Americans did a lot in just a few weeks to undo the awful damage Donald and his Magas have done to our reputation around the world over the last 18 months.
One little Donald phone call put an end to all that warmth and rehabilitation.
Conservatives care about football again? I thought they swore off the NFL after Kaepernick, BLM, Bad Bunny, etc. Seems they are always crying about something.
Always remember Trump is still the master of keeping himself in the news……Gin up the Base…….All news good or bad is ammunition for his brand……and of course as always he's moved on to verbally abusing NATO reps etc et al and the Conference he is at.
