In my media market, the No Kings rally in my town didn’t even make the local tv news, but in a town of 50-60k in reddish NC, we had a rally with several hundred people. Many of us opted to attend locally rather than going to larger cities for the first time since we could come out locally for the first time. I fear an undercount. Also, it’s coming on Holy Week, in a secular society, public school spring breaks are evenly divided between Holy Week and the week after Easter, so half of concerned citizens with time and money to burn traveled to see kids/grands, but I hung with college students in my college town in my unicorn inflatable.
Gonna be on the beach in San Francisco with my family; now three generations of protesters! In June there was a people protest sign. Haven’t heard what is planned for today, but am eager to find out. Jim, you and everyone else who is out today, be safe and loud!
Amy - former Buckeye here. Sure saw changes during my lifetime, politically NOT for the better. Moved to Arizona for a decade and saw it turn red to purple, did our small bit to pitch in with that effort. Now back in Midwest working uphill again.

Leave it to JVL to find a negative with "only" 5 or 6 million Americans taking their Saturday to protest against Trump/MAGA. Geez.
The latest estimate I heard was 9 million! A few more million than the last one!
Kind of felt JVL and crew were a bit dismissive about the biggest protest in history.
Wore my Bulwark t-shirt to my CA red county NO KINGS and was greeted by a guy yelling “Bulwark…my people my people” ❤️
