She sounds like someone told her to only say name, rank, and serial number. How is she not in contempt for not answering the questions? And for instead lecturing at the questioner and even questioning the questioner? I guess testifying before a House committee isn't like testifying in a legal court.
This is the dear ex-governor of South Dakota that was banned from every Indian Reservation in the State...she suffers from lots of frustration and wants to become President one day. She is incredibly driven............and obviously out of her realm..........frankly here in SoDak we are glad she's gone............
What happens if they just refuse to go in front of congress? I mean, what's the difference between that and ignoring a 9-0 SCOTUS decision? Contempt of congress? Well, congress won't do anything. At least not until 2027.
Here's another avenue dems could take on DHS making fuckups around immigration arrests: DOGE/waste, fraud, abuse
If DHS/ICE keeps arresting the wrong people and using bad intelligence to make mistakes that cost taxpayers money to fix, then fire these people and hold them accountable for their waste/abuse of the immigration law enforcement process.
Dems on committees should subpoena DHS officials and get to the source of the intel fuckups and then move to fire these people and/or downsize their units "until we can figure out how to fix these defunct intel teams that are creating waste, fraud, and abuse in the immigration system that are costing taxpayers money."
Absolutely! Every dollar spent on Albrego Garcia, every hour of multiple agents' time - all wasted because there is ZERO evidence of criminality. Terrorist? Gimme a break. Not enough evidence for a ham-sandwich grand jury indictment in ANY jurisdiction. How can I be so sure? Cuz if they had a shred, even Kristi, Ka$h, and Bondi would've stumbled over it by now. Noem is shockingly evil and un-American. I am so sickened that someone like her is a Cabinet member who is supposed to be upholding our Constitution. I feel like the statement "her argument would be persuasive to many people" shows how far we as a country have fallen.
I don’t think she’s afraid, exactly. I don’t think she cares any more than Trump does about these people and she just doesn’t want to deal with the risk of a legal challenge that might result in contempt charges or being prevented from getting rid of even more non-white-Afrikaner immigrants.

It’s so much simpler than everyone is making it
1/ if an accusation is enough to incarcerate someone then no one is safe
2/ if the administration is ignoring SCOTUS decisions then no one is safe
