What a fascinating conversation. I was deeply engaged with both the subject of the documentary and the innovative filmmaking techniques they used to produce it.
I found myself thinking about that scene from scene 3 of Community with a plant growing through Jeff’s cell phone. I mean that sincerely. That image from a sitcom really captures how hard these filmmakers worked with their subject to tell this story.
I admit I'm not a regular listener of Bulwark Goes to Hollywood, but man was this a great show. Depressing of course, yet so glad to know a film like this could be made. I'll be sure to watch.

I watched this because I trust Sonny’s recommendation. It is indeed a hard watch but unbelievably timely and brave.
All I can say are the words “ICE, CBP, and numerous planned detention centers across the US”. As in the film, follow the free labor and the money.
What a film for today. Bravo to all involved in its making. And thank you, Sonny, for bringing it forward.
