When people say the USA is no more, just point them in the direction of Minneapolis. Their community represents the best of American values: brave, generous, and willing to fight for not only the rights of their neighbors, but for every American who believes in the Constitution. .

Adrian, can you give us the name of some organizations that are helping provide food and necessities to the people hunkering down in Minneapolis

That Zapata quote gets me every time.

It’s always reminded me of The Clash “Guns of Brixton”

When they kick at your front door

How you gonna come?

With your hands on your head

Or on the trigger of your gun

When the law break in

How you gonna go?

Shot down on the pavement

Or waiting in death row

You can crush us, you can bruise us

But you'll have to answer to

Oh-oh, the guns of Brixton

Most people have a breaking point and these Fucking Idiots better watch out that they don’t push too many people past their limit.

Just back from today’s peaceful protest march through downtown Minneapolis.

After yesterday’s government murder, it was really therapeutic to march with thousands of others and to chant:

FUCK ICE! ICE OUT!

This is so tragic. These good people having their lives upended by monsters like Trump and Bondi and the rest of that disgusting crowd. My imagination goes to raining violence upon them but that makes me just as bad/just like them, because unlike them I was raised by good and honorable and decent people. In their case I would invoke wolves but wolves are so much better than the horribles that spawned the Trump crowd and all their cronies.

If you don't like what the T. Rump criminal enterprise is selling quit buying it. Use the mute button often, check your registration and vote like your life depends on it-very likely it may.

Adrian. Thank you for highlighting Miller and printing his ravings. If people didn’t know how involved he is with this debacle, they will after reading your column. Please keep up the pressure on him. He’s one cockroach that needs to be put in the spotlight.

Noem is nothing more than a spokesmodel with a costume fetish that signs paperwork put before her. She should still be held accountable and impeached, but Miller is running this operation. Immigration, and the lack thereof, has been his passion project since at least high school. He purposefully is not the head of DHS, he is unconfirmable by senate for that position (which says a lot based on the garbage the senate was willing confirm,) and he does not want the position. He sits in the WH, directing the actions of ICE and border control to remain unaccountable. That does not mean at some point an investigation will not be able to find his fingerprints all over this business.

Also include the liar Corey Lewandowski. He’s Noem’s partner(?); they are both married but not to each other, and is a temp worker at DHS. Like Musk, he was supposed to leave after 90 days, and yet he is still there. He can’t be impeached, but he should be indicted.

FareDaze62's avatar

Yes, my guess is Lewendowski is the funnel.

Katherine B Barz's avatar

And Noem is the puppet spouting what Lewendowski funnels to her to say.

I cannot tell you how full my heart is when I read the stories of ordinary people in Minnesota wanting to help their neighbors. I think maybe it’s what we all want, just to help our neighbors and resist evil. Oddly, this administration may have done for America what no one could do: make us into a community again. Much respect, Adrian.
