I still clearly remember the day season two came out, I started the first episode, and my friend walked in and saw the show. With great excitement I started to recommend the show to her so she decided to stay and watch it for a bit. And that's when the protagonist, a seasoned, extremely well-trained badass rebel fighter, turned away from a hostile character and was then shot. The protagonist was astonished, and croaked "You shot me in the back...." with an absolutely stunned expression, which mirrors the one on my own face. I then had to explain to my friend that season one really wasn't like this....
