Did HHS actually do this or is this something that DOGE has done to cut an expense?

This is just one of the numerous areas where all sorts of illegal shenanigans are going on, and one of many areas where the regime is actively sabotaging US interests and harming people. I CANNOT understand why people voted for this ridiculous level of corruption, cruelty, and incompetence.

RFK, Jr., is incompetent and a quake. He's a lawyer, not a scientist or physician, who trades in conspiracies. He should be opposed everyday he comes to work, acknowledging that he has no redeeming qualities for the job he's supposed to do.

where's the effing outrage? having americans have stopped paying attention or dont care about vaccines anymore? i guess they just want their kids to die. you know i was thinking about this and there's some nice people who live kinda nearby. they have 4 grown kids born sometime before 1965 I think. One is blind and deaf I think -- from the german measles in utero. They've had to keep her with long term medical care in the house for decades. apparently they have a little money or maybe its medicaid. but folks don't want that now? no biggie, right?

Every time I read reporting about what the current administration is doing and that China is working on picking up the slack, I wonder how much money the president and his family are making.

The irony of the Make America Great Again movement is that when it's run it's course we will be poorer, stupider, less relevant, more vulnerable, sicker, and less prepared. MAGA, indeed!

For Trump, it's really school yard politics - he just wants to get in the face of anyone who disagrees with him. For Republican members of Congres,s it just comes down to the fact that principles of governance and service to the country mean nothing compared with staying in office.

The more moronic and fringe the positions taken an appointee, the more attractive they are to Trump. He's a contrarian policitian - if it runs against precedent or logic, he's for it.

I think Trump deliberately picks the candidate who will cause the most outrage among rational people.

I wonder how many MAGAts consider how pathetic it is to have the primary motivation in their life be looking for ways to anger your political opponents.

We have to remember that both Murkowski and Collins voted to confirm RFK Jr. They both knew what was coming yet they went ahead and did it anyway.

Let's not forget about all those R Senators who confirmed RFK Jr. Trump may get credit for nominating an incredibly horrifying candidate, but the Senate bears responsibility for his confirmation.

I am a physician, now retired, and have been alive long enough to see medical fads come and go. Fads infect the medical world just like they do all the other segments of society. This is a dangerous fad. It is fueled by political grievance, tribalism, and the quest for power. Nothing in the Trump administration's directives is based on science or even the barest modicum of logic. This criticism is specifically directed at the medical manipulations of the current political regime. There are other critiques to be made as well, but this is one to which I can attest. It is brazen corruption and subjugation.

I can't recall exactly where- I think many places- have been calling the entire Trump phenomenon a cult. That idea seems truer by the day. But for some time, I've thought this is not just a "typical" cult, but one that has been acquiring the attributes of a death cult. Sorry if that sounds extreme. But HTG, is it becoming more a literal reality than not? With what this incredibly dangerous and mal-informed medical authoritarian is trying to do to our nation's system of healthcare.

I've been asking these questions in my mind a lot lately: how is it this man was given the power to do these things? Was heading HHS Bobby's reward for having swung his voters to Donald Trump? My god. Assuming so, how does anyone going forward actually benefit from Robert's nihilistic damage to our healthcare infrastructure? Not that he seems particularly concerned, but I don't see how Robert's chaotic dismembering of HHS helps Donald at all. So I keep asking myself: how in hell was this allowed to happen to our nation's healthcare? I know I can't be alone in feeling simply terrified.

This sounds like a concerted effort to sabotage our ability to fend off another pandemic. What? A million plus dead Americans the first time wasn’t good enough? Unbelievable
