Shay's rebellion ended the right to rebel with violence. The response to it was the constitution and rule of law. Madison wrote it as a response to that crisis of violence and even Sam Adams agreed it was illegal to use political violence AFTER the revolution. Only Patrick Henry and his faction disagreed, giving us the famous quote, but the constitution won. It replaced the need for political violence and make it a crime.

It seems to me that Trump, the Project 2025 crowd, MAGA (e.g., Aileen Cannon), and the Supreme Court are bent on nullifying the constitution.
