^ Also, the protagonist's name in "Following" (Cobb) is a character-name that persists in Nolan's later works (Leo's character in "Inception," for instance).

To each their own of course, but if you've got Max and want to look into things that lived up to the hype, Sopranos, Deadwood, and Rome are all pretty darn good in my book. Rome's only two seasons, and Deadwood is only three, so not huge investments.

I've just given up on action movies because they have gotten terrible. I don't care about any of the characters so I don't care about the action, which is shot in a way where you can't even figure out what's happening anyways. The last action movies I actually enjoyed were Wonder Woman, Blade Runner 2049, and Dunkirk. Which all came out in 2017. I don't think I've missed anything.

Also is it just me, or does Chris Pratt have zero chemistry with any of his female costars? Or maybe it's just be the terrible writing and tacked on unnecessary romantic subplots? I would re-watch any 40 year old movie with Harrison Ford in it before watching a Chris Pratt movie.
