This made me remember what life was like in early 2021 (post 1/6). We were aware there was a vaccine or two developed and produced but that there was no national plan to distribute them. To me that was as concerning, upsetting as Covid itself was. Finally in very late March and April the vaccines were available and everyone I knew was trying to figure out where and how quickly we could be vaccinated. Two friends of mine are medical professionals. One memorable Saturday the two of them vaccinated a total of 1000 people, just the two of them. There were other practitioners there shooting up as many people as they could that day too. People were lined up around several blocks waiting to get a vaccine. The relief we all felt was immense. How do people not remember that and not give the Biden Administration credit for getting the distribution rolling?
