I speak like GW Bush being squeezed by the balls and I don't mean the GW from scripted speeches where he tries to enunciate. I try to use the voice command for my TV or to "hey Google" on my tablet from time to time and I pretty much never get what I'm asking for thanks to my heavy accent. What I get compared to what I want can be good for a laugh but it takes less time in my case to just type.

I don't doubt it, but there were voice to text applications before this round of voice interfaces (Alexa, Siri, etc) that you needed to train to make them useful and they still had weird input at times. And that was if you talked like a nightly news anchor. No training voice commands for a wide swath of people was still a big step forward. We'll see what the next one holds.
