Bill Kristopher: I hope we are all “Pro-Life”! However, people who oppose abortion should be termed “Anti-Abortion”. Pro-Choice people are certainly not “anti-life.”

"Pro-life" is a total misnomer and simply a nice label for controlling another human being.

Exactly! The "Pro-Life" people certainly don't give a damn about said life after it's born.

Some of us are genuinely pro-life. And we're angry at the damage that the Rs have done to those of us who actively support the mother and the child. Please don't damn all of us - we get enough of that from the MAGAs.

I definitely respect your views, I also respect the views of PETA and moral vegetarians. But I do not believe their particular views should be the law of the land either. For me it is a matter of when another human being is involved and that is in my opinion not until a fetus can survive without being attached to an actual living breathing human. We already have enough laws to deal with that. Though many on the right scream about it there is no such thing as a "partial-birth" abortion, or one of the other favorites a "post-birth" abortion, that is an oxymoron.

I suppose the terminology could be equally valid if it were framed as 'pro-choice vs. anti-choice', as it has been many times before over the last 50+ years the issue has been debated. I think the anti-choice people (and that includes women as well as men) feel the need to add a deeper, philosophical/religious aspect to the issue, which is why they prefer 'pro-life' terminology. I personally am completely pro-choice, and that choice should only and always be up to the pregnant woman (not sure even to this day how to define what 'underaged' teenager is before parental input enters). The fact that I, personally, would not share that woman's opinion shouldn't matter one iota. So yeah, this whole legislative denial of freedoms we're going through now is just a pure power play by those anti-choice forces out there.

To always use the term 'anti-choice' on this topic would be my preference, as it applies to any POLITICAL usage. That is, after all, the only issue that relates to an actual ballot or vote - freedom of choice vs. denial of that freedom.
