Leading The Bulwark…

The Day After

William Kristol on: The good, the bad, and the ugly.

šŸŽ§ On The Podsā€¦šŸŽ§

Bill Kristol and Mona Charen on the Morning After

On today’s Bulwark Podcast, Bill Kristol and Mona Charen join host Charlie Sykes to discuss Tuesday’s election, the future of the GOP, and why Trumpism has not been refudiated.

šŸ” FOR BULWARK+ MEMBERS:

On THE NEXT LEVEL Podcast, Tim Miller, JVL, and Sarah Longwell discuss why: ā€œYou can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you might find, you get what you need.ā€

Editor’s Note: Thanks for tuning in last night! We had a great turnout and we loved to see your emails and comments.

We had a few thousand (!) Bulwark+ members tune in. It was a late night. I hope you got some sleep. Some of us did, some of us did not.

In Today’s Bulwark…

All of Trump’s Anti-Democratic Attacks Have Failed—So Far

Kim Wehle: He lied about mail-in-ballot fraud. He undermined the postal service. Now he wants the courts to halt the counting of ballots.

The Problem of the Male Voter

Mona Charen: Does this election tell us something about American men?

The State of the Nation

Jonathan V. Last: You can see Hungary from America's front porch.

Will the American Fever at Last Break?

Richard North Patterson: In a blatantly anti-democratic speech, Trump demands states stop counting ballots. As of early morning, though, Biden still has a chance to win.

🚨OVERTIME🚨

Well, I was wrong!

At least on a couple of things. I’ve been wrong before. My two big predictions were these: Joe Biden would win the popular vote by 8%. Not gonna happen probably. And, more wrongly, I thought we’d have a clear idea of the winner on election night.

And as I am writing this, it’s a day after the election, so, obviously that didn’t happen.

I still think things look good for Biden, but I obviously was wary of an EC prediction because the variance was so wide. Should Joe Biden win, which I think he probably will, it will be around 300 EVs. Probably on the under.

No comment… Candace Owens is joining The Daily Wire.

A weird police story out of D.C…

Extremely weird cops/media story: • 2 D.C. TV stations report stabbing of Proud Boys members by people associated with BLM • Police then retract statement, and a police source claims they were misquoted • Stations say they quoted cops accurately
bit.lyDC Police Said Proud Boys Were Stabbed on Election Night. Then They Changed Their Story. | Washingtonian (DC)A police source insists the department was misquoted by two local TV stations.

SkyNet may kill us all… But before they do, here’s a robot you really need.

The pollsters may have let us down last night, but we won’t. Join Bulwark+ for more insight.
