Hello Damon. This comment has nothing to do with this podcast but your latest musing in your Substack article on why you won’t vote for Biden. I am not a paid subscriber to your Substack because quite frankly I can only spend so much money on all the information out there. So I’ve chosen this avenue to address you.

You’re naturally a flip-flopper. Once a Republican who left the fold in the 90’s or the naughts?? I usually find your commentary to be even-keeled and enlightened, but in your comments about not voting for Biden because he is unfit when you know his intentions are honorable and an effort to stop the biggest threat to democracy. I am a bit flabbergasted by your comments. I hope in your little world of right and wrong you can be okay with a second Trump term because it’s “intellectual” dumb-asses such as yourself that will screw us all. This isn’t an intellectual exercise in the proper ways a candidate should conduct him or herself. It’s a fight against evil. Trump and MAGA are evil. From my simple point of view, you vote against Trump, not necessarily for the other candidate. I understand the shock and awe that many people feel about Biden’s mental health, but if you’re wanting Kamala rather than Biden. Vote Biden in and then he can step down and Vice-President Harris will be president. Take your intellectual musings on not voting for Biden and stuck it where it belongs.
I’m not. I’m frustrated like a lot of people. I’m not a political intellectual or insider like many of you at the Bulwark are. I can only speak to the frustration of watching/reading the people at the Bulwark pulling a 180 on Biden. I realize Biden is not the perfect candidate, but until he decides to step down he is what we got against Trump. I apologize for my language and attacking your intelligence. My comment wasn’t thoughtful, it was born of frustration and desperation. Again. I apologize.
Just to be clear, I appear on the "Beg to Differ" podcast, but I'm not otherwise employed by The Bulwark. So you shouldn't generalize about where they come down on the basis of what I write or say on the pod.
Understood. My reaction was knee-jerk and again born out of frustration. It feels like an avalanche of negativity coming from all corners. Please accept my sincere apology for my behavior/comments. I fell victim to the ability to comment without considering my actions.

What a thoughtful comment. You should be very proud of yourself.
