It's all about the circus. Feed the base red meat. They did not have as many gang members to detain. Grab anyone to make the numbers. Evil gits

I hope this goes out on YouTube to a wider audience. (I can;t tell if it's restricted atm). It's such an important issue and the wider public discussion of it the better.

Thanks for expanding this story. It would seem that we do have jurisdiction here, because a deal was made between DHS and El Salvador. An outside shot would be for the Venuzualan government to do something. Can we "buy" these people out of prison? Come on Elon, step up.

THANK YOU for relentlessly following these stories. No words for how unreal all this seems...not surprising, but just horrifying in its scope and unchallenged reality. I'm sending money to the ACLU and NIJC and using the 5Calls app daily to be in touch with elected officials. Is there anything else we can do now? Other organizations and actions to be taken?

And Tim, I'm sure I join the long list of adopted mother wannabes who offer concern and hope you are taking care of yourself! You are EVERYWHERE and doing EVERYTHING...and while much appreciated, we need you for the marathon this will be! THANKS for all you do, but please take good care!!

This is atrocious. Thank you for continuing to shine a light on this Tim. Although a different situation, I found this account by Jasmine Mooney, a Canadian recently detained by ICE, spelled out how clearly how awful even just detentions by ICE are. The El Salvador prison I am sure is even worse. Below is a quote from Jasmine’s article. It is so awful that all of this is happening.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/mar/19/canadian-detained-us-immigration-jasmine-mooney

“Thirty of us shared one room. We were given one Styrofoam cup for water and one plastic spoon that we had to reuse for every meal. I eventually had to start trying to eat and, sure enough, I got sick. None of the uniforms fit, and everyone had men’s shoes on. The towels they gave us to shower were hand towels. They wouldn’t give us more blankets. The fluorescent lights shined on us 24/7.

Everything felt like it was meant to break you. Nothing was explained to us. I wasn’t given a phone call. We were locked in a room, no daylight, with no idea when we would get out.”

God bless these people for covering this story and for you Tim continuing to ring this bell. It’s so cruel and I guess, that is their point.

Horrific. And no release date. Although it would be in the gaol's interest to have them there for as short a time as possible. Will they be released to fend for themselves or returned to Venezuela or disappeared permanently? This is heart-breaking.

I think these people were targeted using less than sufficient evidence and were sent to El Salvador without due process because the Trump Regime wanted to look like they were getting things done. This is anything but a win. It's horrible.

BTW, please keep the light on this, Tim. I'm so grateful for the heart and anger you've expressed about this and the other abductions.

It was important to hear from these reporters. I hope they keep up their work. Now I'm going to go weep for these men. My heart is so sore with what is being done in our names.

My usual first reaction these days is rage, and I certainly feel that about this. But more than that I just feel like bursting into tears for the horror our gov't. has become, and the suffering and terror these innocent people are surely experiencing. This is one of those situations that makes me feel like my heart is being ripped in two.

Is there any possibility of ransoming some or all of them? I am assuming that the El Salvador government can be paid enough to release them.
