In my opinion, COVID is the primary cause for inflation. Companies for years were able to find cheaper materials and labor globally for years in zero interest rate environment to keep prices low. Once the international supply chain is broken, inflation becomes a runaway train.
If establishment Republicans think DeSantis is their answer, they are dumber and crazier than I thought. It is one thing by picking someone like Brian Kemp (not a fan but at least he has a spine), but supporting authoritarian wannabe DeSantis is against everything the GWB and Jeb used to stand for.
Also, never thought GWB is better than Jeb before, but at least GWB voted for Condelezza Rice, which is otherwise a crazy thing to do and then tell the world. But Jeb thinking that he is helping P’s future political future by staying silent in 2020 was deranged.
