You sre focusing on the medicare cuts snd the tax looting, but all that is just froth. The meat of the bill, and its actal main purpose, is to fund the creation of the police state apparatus the planned dictatorship will need. Vance even boasted about it. And the hapless bictim population —aka the American Prople— aka the lambs slated for dlaughter— didn’t even yawn, much less so much as baa once in protest.

Good on your boss to deny you the purchase of the Trump perfume. Because we already know what the fragrance is. It is the rank oder of hypocrisy joined to the stench of mendacity.

As Lawrence O'Donnell is saying right now, the R party, POS, his entire administration is an example of the banality of evil. This is the latest NYT breaking news: "Trump Administration Withholds Nearly $7 Billion for Schools, With Little Explanation The money helps pay for after-school and summer programs, support for students learning English, teacher training and other services. But in an email, the Education Department notified state education agencies that the funds would not be available."

Do any republicans even know how to govern anymore?

--- Seems to me they basically live on the lesson trump has proved to them:

That there is no accountability for corruption, incompetence, deception, and a fundamental disdain for the American people.

--- Seems to me they are simply elbows on the levers they are told to pull come-voting-time.

--- Seems to me, as it were, Democrats are not perfect, but I don't think I have heard one salient utterance on policy, economics, and national culture from a "Republican" in decades.

It's hardly the greatest irony of the Trump Years that a man internationally famous for smelling bad would release a line of "fragrances", presumably for his marks to buy. But it still IS a notable irony.

I assume the new Trump cologne will be something we might call "Eau de Toilette Swamp Water." From the backwaters of Alligator Alcatraz, with bottling duty assigned to detainees.

Democrats are going to miss the boat again if they don't marry their message of Trump's disastrous bill and the damage it will do WITH THE FACT THAT THE DAMAGE WILL BE DONE IN THE FUTURE !!! I have heard many Democrats and a few Republicans complain about how this is taking from the poor to give to the rich, but voters have a short memory. They will hear all these dire warnings, then nothing happens to them in the next couple years, so they will conclude the Dems were lying, or forget all about it, thinking things are going along as usual. And if Dems do pick up a few seats in the next elections, and then the economy, jobs, healthcare all goes to hell due to the timing of the BBB, the Dems will be blamed because it happens on THEIR WATCH. Voters cannot discern the malicious intent of Republicans who are putting these draconian policies into effect AFTER the upcoming elections !! They are counting on the disinformation from FOX, and the future timing of the bill, to convince the voters that it is not THEIR fault, or Trump's fault - but the Dems again. YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST lay down the arguments RIGHT NOW blaming Republicans and noting the timing will take effect much later. Do not mention the BBB and it's cruel and oppressive outcomes without coupling it with the facts about when it will be enacted. This is absolutely necessary. If you don't, all the blather will be for naught. Someone please round up the Dems and get them on the same page with a message that will resonate with ALL VOTERS. They need ALL THE FACTS! All caps because I am so mad at the messaging ineptitude shown by Democrats - and I have been one all my adult life !

Carefully crafted to avoid much of the dismal effects until after mid-term elections so the ruffled feathers of the notoriously fickle American electorate can be smoothed over in preparation for another T. Rump victory. As for T. Rump perfume - intended to sweeten the air so the noxious vapors of the T. Rump criminal enterprise can be ignored. Nothing to see here, move along.

Interesting to see polling indicates minimal loss of support among the MAGA base who still think they will not be affected-just 'woke others'. It is not possible to fix willful ignorance. YMMV.

I am concerned that the blowback from the big better bill with respect Medicaid may be much less than anticipated. The only individuals that are significantly affected of those who have work requirements. All those who are fully disabled or elder people who have it exceeded their Medicare payments care will not be affected. Further even if 8 million are removed out of 78 million. This would be only ~10% of Medicaid recipients. This combined with bill not taking effect until 2026 suggests there may be little or no impact on the mid term elections from the Medicaid cuts. If this is true I wonder if this is deliberate or planned.

I have read the impact will be large because many rural hospitals will have to close. This will affect everyone living in these areas, including people fully covered by insurance or Medicare.

I agree. However, the problem is that it takes time for the rural hospitals to become financially insolvent and close. The bill is not due to start until 2026 and there may not be enough time for the hospitals to close and create the disinfection. I suspect it will have a much less effect than we would like.

Shame on Murkoski! She was against the BBB until the last vote came. Her vote resulted in. 50-50 tie that Vance broke and the Big Ugly passed. The renewable energy provision in the bill was a big deal for her. What happened?!

Trump's Victory 45-47 for men:

"Reminiscent of the Jan. 6, 2021 Day of Love, it has top notes of zesty bear spray in the eyes of Capital Police, wet cast iron heart notes of their blood and tangy sweat and lingering earthy base notes of the feet on desks and feces on the floor lain by Patriots trying to 'Stop the Steal.'"
