This is their time. The fascists are testing out all their tactics.

What they're going to find out is that the United States of America isn't particularly conducive to fascism. Not a single person in the U.S. has been brought up to believe they should obey the government. Respect, yes. Automatically obey, no.

The entire premise of the United States is that the government gets its just powers from the consent of the governed.

I don't think anyone consented to the government breaking the law. And using governmental power against political opponents is about as un-American a you can get.

Everyone is saying the democrats need to rebrand. No they don’t. They just need to go back to their roots. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The GOP has become a white nationalist party. What better way to counter the GOP message of hate.

Their behavior strikes me as a gang of criminals who have a desperate fear they will be arrested, tried, convicted, and will spend a lot of time in CECOT!

The Felon King knows this and already has the experience in both civil and criminal courts to see that he has no defense. The rest are just a bizarre collection of weak, insecure people with no character.

The answer to this madness is to keep up the pressure and get in their faces constantly. It will get ugly, but if you don't stand up to the bullies now, our children will have to fight them.

We can win this fight, and we have done this before!

Hey Tim, I am on vacation in Ireland but had a moment to listen to this podcast. Guess what the short ad introducing the podcast was for… Trump’s “luxury” hotel here in Ireland. What the hell!!

Most of the B & B owners and shopkeepers we have spoken to about life in America now are just incredulous. They cannot understand how we could reelect him knowing what we know. Some mock him but most just express sincere sympathy for what we are going through. This morning our host said “I get emails from folks from the US asking if I will allow them into our home and saying that they didn’t vote for Trump. It makes me sad they feel the need to apologize for what’s happening in America.”

I'm not sure that many people are paying attention to anything Trump and his gang are doing. In my experience around here (Trumpy Colorado) that only a small number of citizens are paying attention, or even care. It's pretty depressing, but means that those of us who ARE paying attention need to figure out how to spread the REAL news.

The ham handed (and illegal) overreach of the DOJ, DHS, etc will backfire. Americans do not like to be pushed around and told what to do. This nation was founded on a love of freedom, imperfect at first, but over the years becoming more inclusive.

Sooooo, uhhhh, I was wondering if these disgusting psychopaths have thought about the personal consequences to them, of ripping up the Constitution. Once the regime is defeated in an election (I know, I’m such an optimist) or toppled, why would the victors of a conflict against merciless fascists recognize the pardons, which will no doubt be issued by trump to all his vile minions.

If I was a General, well, more likely a Colonel, alright Major, in the Constitutional Forces of the Restored United States of America, those pardons wouldn’t be worth a handful of trump’s used toilet paper during war crimes tribunal proceedings.

Remember psychos: Sic Transit Gloria Mundis!

Translation: Earthly glory is fleeting bitches!!

Don’t underestimate them Shirley. The bastards are stupid, but they are incredibly devious. Like the dark master whose shoe bottoms they lick. They are worthy adversaries, because of the power they currently wield. That will make victory that much sweeter.

Or we lose, and we cease to exist, or we will all have a blast vanquishing enemies, drinking and vanquishing some more enemies, forever in Valhalla. Sadly, I’m betting it will be option one, and hope is the whore mother of disappointment after all, but nevertheless, we must move forward to victory!

So true, and those who underestimated the force they represent, the Don included, fail to grasp how logical minds of good intent will never fathom the extent of their greed and cruelty because it simply is not in us. I do have an inkling. Or two—being a student of the Holocaust.
