Do they not have any ability to look into the future and see there must be more evidence to come out? At first they were denying the page existed and now it’s here but they still have to call it fake. It makes no sense, they all look so stupid. I’m just going to sit back with my popcorn wait because this will be good.

I cannot believe these Republicans are excusing the behaviour of a probable pedophile. It’s so cringe that they can’t agree that IS his signature. I can’t believe when the next piece of evidence comes out and all these lawmakers will have to eat their words.

I'm 69; I remember in my youth watching the "Sunday shows" with my father (kind of an Archie Bunker character) but regardless, Republican and Democrat Senators appeared *together* discussing and debating issues, much of the time the discussion centered on how they were driving toward compromise on legislation. The point is those Senators had agency, power, influence. The Republicans today are pitiful eunuchs, irrelevant, cowering in fear of a buffoon. It is disgusting.

Republican leadership is s not week, it's non existent. It wouldn't matter at all who you put in the Republican Senate spots, they've given up all power and balance as part of the government. It's a rubber stamp.

Hi Grumpy. I love what you do. I don't know how you do it all the time. I have to take a break and drink some bourbon, sometimes a little Jameson, and Tito's is also very good. Although if I drink it with Red Bull then it makes me want to stay up longer. So it's better with some juice...

I like your calling the leadership limp. Nice way of telling the truth. Grumpy? Nah.

MAGA controls the Republican primaries and the biggest threat for any Republican is to have a primary in which MAGA voters oppose them - and MAGA will support, and only support, anything that Trump says or does. So it's not surprising that almost every elected Republican only does what Trump tells them to do, and when in office only follow and increasingly try to sound like THE LEADER. Creativity and independence are being bred out of the Party - they haven't even needed a platform in the last two Presidential elections. Increasingly the way to get ahead is not to be ahead but to follow - and so we are seeing a generation of brain dead zombies who may look attractive but there's no there there.

The do-nothing, ass-kissing approach on the parts of all of those surrounding and including John Thune at his say-nothing pressers is infuriating. Equally infuriating is that Thune, Lankford, Barrasso and Capito, combined, represent only 2% of the American population. If you add in Cornyn, that amount barely exceeds 11%. What a stupid system...
