Four years ago I went with a friend to Nancy Mace’s office in Beaufort to deliver a petition in support of the Voting Rights act. We were shocked when the staffer (completely unprovoked) told us how much they all hated Mace and missed both Joe Cunningham and Mark Sanford. The staffer said that both of them had treated staff with respect while Mace was just demanding and rude. So I wasn’t surprise when all of the bad press came out regarding her treatment of staff. She has no moral compass. She’s just a self promoter. Hopefully her district will send her back to being a private citizen.
That’s exactly what I hope happens. I live in her district. Hopefully one of the Democrats who are in the primary will be able to win back our district from the MAGAs.
I grew up in that district. It's a weird district, and in some ways more like FL than other places. There are several huge retirement communities that attract tons of elderly transplants there for the sunshine and low taxes.
Culturally it's kind of different (think more Savannah/Charleston than Alabama). People really pride themselves on hospitality and politesse, tourism is huge for the economy . But I think all the southward migration to the area has sort diminished this effect in politics.
I don't go back to often. It's depressing to me to see large tracks of my childhood paved over in order to replicate New Jersey.

Why re-inflict her on her district? Just because they were stupid enough to elect her once? OK, maybe that is a sufficient reason.

Any REAL chance of that? It is the Deep South.

It is South Carolina politics.By most measures, close to the bottom.
MAGA is super good at finding ali the personality disordered of either sex....which says all we need to know about MAGA voters
Is "personality disordered" in the new DSM? I've never heard the phrase before.
It's more of a category covering multiple diagnosis like narcissism, borderline personality disorder, and all forms of sociopathy.
Cluster B, Cluster GOP
OK, given the source, I'll accept it, but sounds like all your nuts in one cracker.
It is crazy when voters traded Joe Cunningham for Nancy Mace, who seems like she will be a fixture now.
I felt the same when Missouri trade Claire McCaskill for Josh Holly 💩💩
Hopefully they will. Or she may be there for life.
